The discussions and comments posted on this web portal are open to all. All comments are moderated a posteri. The role of moderators is to ensure observance by the various contributors with the elementary rules for expressing opinions in public.

These rules apply to the remarks made by contributors and to the remarks made on the websites or references indicated in their contributions. Although the following list is not exhaustive, such remarks include, in particular:

  • any remark in breach of law or infringing currently applicable regulations (incentive to racial hatred, racism, calls to violence, xenophobia, historical revisionism or negationism, infringement of privacy, intellectual copyright, etc.);
  • any remarks that are vulgar, obscene, or pornographic in nature;
  • any remarks that are aggressive, violent, or insulting; whether as such, or towards another contributor or person or category of persons designated by their race, sex, religion or any other characteristic;
  • any form of harassment, in particular by saturating comments with repeated attempts to publish identical or extremely similar messages;
  • any sales promotion or advertising;
  • any usurpation of identity, whether apparent or manifest, it being specified that in case of doubt about the identity of a contributor, when the contents of a messages are relevant for the debate, the message may be posted on the forum by the moderator, but will not be signed;
  • any remark that is irrelevant or inappropriate to the debate in which it is posted, with particular reference to the initial item of discussion.

Messages that manifestly infringe currently applicable legislation will not be published, and may be communicated to the proper authorities if and where appropriate.

Moderators reserve the right to apply these rules, and to exclude those who repeatedly or systematically infringe them. The moderators’ decisions are final.
