11TH EDITION
BERLIN, MAY 18-22, 2011
Berlin 2011 contents
Challenge Bibendum was organized on the grounds of the former Tempelhof International Airport. It attracted over 150 companies and organizations, 300 vehicles and 6,000 experts, decision-makers, researchers, academics and journalists from over 80 countries.
This year’s highly successful event, like all the previous editions since 1998, provided a panoramic review of the outstanding progress being achieved by the transportation sector in its quest for sustainability. Challenge Bibendum aims to promote a common understanding of future advances in tomorrow’s mobility and at explaining how it will evolve and change. From this understanding will stem opportunities on a global scale, for businesses as well as, more broadly, for an overall better quality of life. There is no such thing as sustainable development that does not place people at the heart of the issue.
