Renault has signed an agreement with the virtual prototyping specialist, the ESI Group, to strengthen their existing relationship, to afford greater opportunities for industrial co-creation and anticipate Renault’s needs for its three-year strategic plan. Certain challenges, notably reducing vehicles’ CO2 emissions, highlight the urgent need to speed up innovation by using new materials and new procedures. And ESI explains that these need to be tried and tested quickly using reliable methods. The ESI Group will work with Renault on virtual prototyping for its motors.
