Nissan wants to boost Leaf sales by encouraging the installation of charging stations throughout America, in particular in public spaces. The Japanese brand has asked its dealerships to help it increase the number of charging stations "in workplaces, neighborhoods, business premises and public spaces". Nissan has also launched a trial program for rapid charging stations in 27 of its Californian dealerships, in the hope of getting feedback for future installations with other dealerships.
